August 12 - Barnes and Noble BookFair

*Support MVMP while shopping for summer reading!
*Activities for the whole family include:
- summer and patriotic themed crafts and stories for the kids
- examining artifacts representing local veterans' service
- opportunity to create cards for veterans at the VA Hospital and Chelsea Soldiers Home

Here's a look at what's going on this winter!
November 28 - December 9 - Sock Drive for the Homeless
Help Alderman Scott Forbes and the Forbes Family collect socks for the homeless! Drop off locations include:
- Melrose High School, Main Lobby
- 41 Mystic Avenue, Melrose
- 19 Ravine Terrace, Melrose
- Veteran Services Office, Melrose City Hall (1st Floor)
- The Cloud Nine, 40 Wyoming Ave., Melrose
December 3 - Barnes and Noble BookFair
Barnes and Noble, Rte. 1, Saugus
*Support MVMP while doing your holiday shopping!
*Activities for the whole family include:
- holiday themed crafts and stories for the kids
- art demonstration by a local veteran
- opportunity to create cards for veterans at the VA Hospital and Chelsea Soldiers Home
- free gift wrapping (donations accepted)
